====Rivet Nut Sizes and holes====
A rivet nut, also known as a nutsert or rivnut, is a clever fastener that combines the features of a rivet and a nut into a single piece. It's essentially a hollow, internally threaded tube with a deformable head on one end.
To install it, the rivet nut is placed into a pre-drilled hole in a thin sheet of material, and a special tool is used to pull on the threads, causing the hollow shank to collapse and flare out behind the material. This action permanently clamps the rivet nut in place, creating a strong, reliable threaded insert. This is particularly useful in materials that are too thin or brittle to tap a conventional thread, providing a durable anchor point for bolts and screws.

Rivet Nut Sizes and holes
